It starts with a message. Once you decide to go, we send you a confirmation letter, your booking documents and a clear breakdown of how and when to pay — no surprises, no fine print.

Info pack before you arrive
Along with your confirmation letter we send three forms to fill in and return. They tell us who is coming, what you need on the trail, and who to call if anything happens up high.

Your name, address and passport details, plus any dietary requests, medical notes or anything else we should know.
Who to reach back home if needed, and your travel insurance details for the mountains.
To confirm your trek: we ask for a deposit of 40% of the trek fee, plus the estimated cost of any hotels and bus tickets we book for you. You can send your deposit in whichever of these ways suits you best.
Once your deposit arrives, your trip is fully confirmed. That is the moment we appoint your guide, cook and key staff for your dates, and pay them deposits to hold their services for you. We do not take American Express or PayPal.
You can settle the rest of the trip fee in either of two ways, whichever is easier for you:
About six weeks before you land in Lima, we send you your complete trip information pack: your full programme, all your tickets and hotel vouchers, the practical instructions, the names and numbers you may need along the way, and your final invoice.
We also pass on the names and email addresses of anyone else joining your group, so you can say hello to each other before you all meet in Huaraz.
Tell us the trek you have in mind and we will send your confirmation letter, booking documents and payment details. You will be dealing with the family, not a booking desk.
