“Trip Advisor Posting: Best trekking experience I’ve ever had Every year, my wife and I trek somewhere in the world for a week or two, always self supported. This year we decided to do the Huayhuash Circuit, but do it with a guide. After talking to four different outfits in town, we decided to go with Peruvian Andes Adventures. We were blown away by the service of all their staff. They were very easy to deal with in the planning stages, providing lots of detailed information about the area, the trek, the logistics, etc. We were very particular about the itinerary and they work with us to make our specific desires happen. On the trek, we were blown away by the service of the guide, the cook, and the donkey drivers. Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly, and bent over backwards to ensure we were happy. We are both in excellent shape, so he worked with us each day to add extra mileage and tweek the route to do some harder hiking. Our cook made the most amazing Peruvian food, and it may be the only trek where I gained weight. While some other folks walking with other companies were complaining about all the soup they had to eat, we were having bacon wrapped filet mignon and fresh trout caught by our guide. I highly recommend Peruvian Andes Adventures for any of your trekking needs in the Huaraz area. You won’t be disappointed.”
