Aconcagua, Argentina — Private Guided Climbs

The highest peak in the Andes, guided in person by a UIAGM-qualified lead from our own team. Private, planned around you, and run with the same care that built our name in the Cordillera Blanca.

What this is

The same guiding, now in Argentina

Peruvian Andes Adventures now runs private guided ascents of Aconcagua (6,962m) in Argentina, the highest mountain in the Andes. The same personal attention and quality of guiding we are known for in the Cordillera Blanca travels with you across the border: your trip is run by our own permanent administrative team and a professional UIAGM lead guide, not handed off to a local operator we have never met.

These are private climbs, planned around you. We talk through your dates, your experience and your acclimatisation before anything is booked, and we are honest about what Aconcagua asks of you. It is a long, cold, high mountain, and we would rather you arrive ready than sell you a summit we cannot promise.

Who guides you

Led in person by Hisao or Rodolfo

Two guides who have climbed Aconcagua before, and who know the mountain's logistics from the inside.

Most Aconcagua ascents are guided in person by Hisao Morales, who owns Peruvian Andes Adventures, or by Rodolfo Oropeza, one of our longest-serving mountain guides. Both have climbed Aconcagua, both know the local logistics, suppliers and permits inside out, and both speak English — so nothing gets lost on the mountain.

You climb with the people who run the agency, the same way you would in Huaraz. That is the whole point: the person planning your expedition is the person roped up next to you at high camp.

How we run it

What carries over from the Cordillera Blanca

Aconcagua is a bigger, colder mountain than anything in Peru, but the way we look after you does not change. Same standard, same honesty about the risks.

A UIAGM-qualified lead guide on every expedition.

Run by our own permanent team, with the local logistics handled by guides who know the mountain.

Private climbs only — your pace, your dates, no shared group.

Climbed in the southern summer, December to February.
