Car Tour to Laguna Paron

A bright blue lake ringed by snow peaks, with the sharp Pirámide (5885m) standing straight at its head — and one of the few you can reach by vehicle. We drive 67 km to Caraz and another 32 km to the lake, through a canyon walled by thousand-metre granite cliffs. At the water you can walk the path around the shore. A long day away from Huaraz, and worth every kilometre.
