Chavín de Huántar Tour by Car
About this day
Located three to four hours by road from Huaraz are the ruins of Chavín—a culture dating back to between 800 and 200 BC, whose religion spread across much of Peru. The great temple houses stone-lined galleries where priests consulted their deities and performed rituals; the most impressive sections were built underground, representing a remarkable engineering feat from three thousand years ago. Guided tour in our private vehicle.
