We believe the enjoyment on the Peruvian Andes Treks is for all people, not just for the super fast and hardened adventurers, so we can “tailor make” special Peru trekking and hiking programs so that you see this beautiful area of Peru at your level of fitness and ability. From families with children to hardened adventurers, we can design the trip of a lifetime to suit your needs.

TREKS for FAMILIES

We delight in having families with children or teenagers come to Huaraz for some trekking or day hiking and tours. Our guides and staff are all family people themselves and take absolute pleasure in being our in the mountains with family groups and children.

We can recommend suitable trek or hike options for your family considering the age of your children, their previous hiking experience and fitness and what you would like to do.

Porters can carry your children’s day packs and we can organise ponies to ride in case they may become tired and need a rest from hiking. Family accommodation with special attention for children is available in Morales Guesthouse, conveniently situated just 3 minutes walk from our office.

TREKS for WOMEN
Either single women traveling alone, two friends, or a group of women friends. We have some lovely lady guides, cooks and support staff who can accompany you on trek if you would like the company of some women trek staff during your hiking adventure and they will make sure that you have a great time, and also that you will feel always well cared for and SAFE.

50 + HIKING & CLIMBING
We specialise in organising treks and climbs for age 50 + hikers and cater for single people, couples or larger groups.

Age is no barrier, only you need to love nature and mountains, and have a sense of adventure. We will design a tailor made trek / climb to suit your needs and level of fitness.

Experienced guides will ensure that you enjoy our mountains, lakes, culture and history at your own pace and leave Peru with wonderful memories of the countryside and the people.

CORDILLERA BLANCA FLOWER TREKS
Interested in Flowers and Plants?? The rainy season finishes in the Cordillera Blanca in April, and from mid April to mid May we have spring conditions with fresh green grass and an abundance of flowers that are unique to the Peruvian Andes.

Many of these plants have ancient medicinal uses and have been used by local people for thousands of years to treat various ailments and for many other practical purposes also (such as treating leather).

We have guides who have special interest in plants and their traditional uses and who delight in sharing their knowledge with you.

An ideal trek to experience the unique beauty of Cordillera Blanca flora is the 5 day Santa Cruz Llanganuco Trek. There are lovely flowers with interesting medicinal uses to see all along the route, and we spend an extra day at stunning Tuallipampa campsite so that we can have a relaxing day walking and searching for flowers in nearby valleys.

PONY TREK

No need to miss out on a Peruvian hiking adventure with your friends or family.

If you would like to enjoy the majesty of the Peruvian Andes peaks, high passes and beautiful lakes – but maybe you will struggle with the high altitude hiking and mountainous steep paths – we can organise a horse with a horse handler for you.

There are some treks that are good options for riding a horse, where the trails are not too steep and you can feel safe with your horse and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.

Good trek options horse riding are:

• Santa Cruz LLanganuco 4 or 5 days (Cordillera Blanca)
• Olleros to Chavin trek 3 days (Cordillera Blanca)
• Olleros to Carhuascansha and Chavin Trek 6 days (Cordillera Blanca)
• Laguna Jahuacocha 4 or 5 day trek (Cordillera Huayhuash)
• Cordillera Huayhuash Mini Trek (8 days)
• Inti Raymi festival Trek 9 days (Cordillera Huayhuash)

CORDILLERA BLANCA PISCO SKI
It is possible to ski Pisco and several European clients have done the Pisco climb and exciting ski descent with us.

We will organise extra porters to carry ski equipment to the summit. Contact us to design any special trek or climb option for you & your friends.
