Yue and Marius from the UK / Santa Cruz trek then Climbing Instruction on Vallunaraju May 2017

Dear Anne and the Peruvian Andes Adventures Team,It’s been a week now since we came back from Peru and we still constantly think about our two-week vacation. It was an amazing time in Huaraz and we thoroughly enjoyed our trekking and climbing experiences in Cordillera Blanca. Every detail of our trip was executed perfectly and we are really grateful and impressed. We wanted to thank you, Hisao and all for creating such a memorable experience for us. We will definitely recommend you to our friends if they are considering exploring Peru. We look forward to coming back in the future for more trekking and climbing with you. Kind regards, Yue and Marius

Terri (group of 4) from USA / Lares Trek to Machu Picchu & Santa Cruz Ulta trek May 2017:

Anne, I wanted to reach out to you and tell you that we all had an amazing time in Peru. Everything was very well planned and administered for us. The folks at the guesthouse were wonderful and we so appreciated the list of amazing restaurants to frequent while there as well. The VIP seats on the bus journey to Huaraz and back were a pleasant surprise… I can’t thank you enough for providing us with such great detail about our visit. The details are important.
Thanks again. Terri

Chris Goodwin from Active Africa Agency / organising Santa Cruz trek + Pisco climb for a group of clients August 2017:

Thank you once again for your very detailed information and professional service – I look forward to meeting you all at the end of the year and working with you.

Abby Butler from the UK/ Quillqueyhuanca Cojup Alpine Trek May 2016

From start to finish The service provided by Peruvian Andes Adventures has been brilliant! The information given before the trek was thorough and useful. All questions were answered quickly and informatively. I really liked the trek briefing – it was a useful guide as to what to expect on the trek. Eli our guide was excellent, kind and very supportive to those struggling on the tougher days. He was also flexible throughout the trek e.g. offering to take those that wanted to a view point. His daily briefings were good. The food was excellent. Jorge really spoilt us. He catered to dietary needs brilliantly with providing balanced meals. The porters were always helpful and very kind. Overall I cannot thank everyone enough for their hard work – it made a great trip truly exceptional and we are all incredibly greatful!

Cheryl / Leader with a group from Mountaineers Club Seattle (second trek with us) / Cordillera Huayhuash 13 Day Trek May 2016

…The guides, cooks and all other crew members were OUTSTANDING – always professional, very helpful and responsive, clearly knowledgeable.

All services were timely and professional. I would recommend Peruvian Andes Adventures to anyone coming to Peru – top notch all around!

Patrick Tatarzyn / USA / Santa Cruz Alpamayo 11 Day Trek May 2016

*Great trip! We came in with high expectations and they were exceeded.

Sharon Carlson / USA / 13 day Cordillera Huayhuash Trek May 2016

*Everyone worked hard to make this trip a success for us…. Food was very good. They all made sure I had gluten free meals. They let me know all the time what food I can or cannot eat. Overall, I am very pleased with the entire trip. Everyone was super helpful and pleasant to be around. I would do another trip with your organisation.

Lily Leung / USA / (second trek with us) / Cordillera Huayhuash 15 Day Trek May 2016

The crew / staff/ guides were great. They made special attention for dietary changes and Marco (guide) was very generous with his time in teaching me Spanish in his free time. We had great weather. The landscape and the views each day were exceptional. The trek was physically challenging but well worth every sore muscle, ache and cold nights. Hisao, Anne and the rest of the staff were also extremely helpful before & after the trek in all my questions and needs.

Melanie from Austria / Huayhuash Mini Trek & Climbed Tocllaraju June 2016

The organisation and the service (especially food) was very good ! Excellent. The whole trekking crew was very engaged and friendly

Lisa & Mike / USA) Cordillera Huayhuash 15 Day Trek June 2016

*Anne was excellent in communicating with us prior to the trip and answering all our questions
*Anamin was a great hostess – greeting us on arrival and answering questions about Huaraz and trip details
*The Huayhuash trek was a fantastic experience from start to finish:
-Tonio was an excellent cook and a great addition to the team! His fresh trout cerviche was some of the best we have tasted around the world and his soups were fantastic. He was friendly and always willing to help
_Nicole and Cacili – Our donkey drivers were warm and friendly & worked so hard on our behalf. They always found the perfect place for our tent!….
*Fredy was the best guide we have ever had! Knowledgeable always and observing our reactions to pace and altitude and careful about our safety. He answered our million questions about Peruvian culture and we could not have asked for a better more friendly & informed, experienced guide

Parul /USA / Alpamayo Trek July 2016

We had a fantastic trip!! Thank you. The views, the trek & the guide were outstanding. Our transfer and tour contact in Lima were just wonderful.

Andrew / South Africa / family with Two Children / Santa Cruz Ulta Trek 7 days August 2016

The food was excellent! And more than expected. Having Pizza, trout and other great food on the walk was appreciated. Being able to have horses for the while time for our children was exactly what we needed to complete the trek and without them we would not have been able to complete the whole trek. Nestor and team were very good on the trek and kept a very manageable constant pace, but still giving us enough time to enjoy the views while walking and having time to relax at camp. Thanks for a fantastic trip!

Michelle/ New Zealand / Santa Cruz Ulta Trek 6 days + Tours in Cusco & Titicaca August 2016

An exceptional team delivering an amazing adventure! Every need was anticipated and I can’t speak highly enough of this unforgettable experience. The food, the scenery, the people ….. Unfaultable!! Thank you to the Peruvian Andes Team. I would highly recommend this company without reservation.

Great service from the very first inquiry through to the trek itself. All staff went out of their way to help us enjoy the experience. We will definitely be recommending your services!

Forest /USA / Climbing Instruction 3 Days Yanapaccha / August 2016

The services provided on the trek far exceeded my expectations. The porters Jhon and Maximo were incredibly friendly. The chef Thono made great food. Jorge (guide) was extremely knowledgeable and very outgoing. I fully enjoyed every art of the experience. The staff at Morales Guesthouse were spectacular and helped with every detail that we could think of. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Thomas / USA / Climbed Vallunaraju August 2016

Overall it was excellent and a real challenge.

Matteo / UK / Leader of a Group of 7 / Santa Cruz trek & Climbed Pisco August 2016

Overall a very good experience, we have been impressed by the organisation of the crew during the trek, the quality of the guide and all the staff equally. The information & communications were exhaustive at the time of planning

Edmund / Leader of a group of 10 from Bavaria / Alpamayo Trek + Climbed Alpamayo, Pisco , Ampato and Cusco, Machu Picchu & TiticacaTours July 2016 (Third trip with us)

Dear Anne, dear Hisao, since a few weeks we ar back home and everybody is very happy about our time in Peru. My dear Anne, we want to say a very very big THANK YOU especialy to you… You must have spent so much time about planning our tour, we are very impressed and very much obliged about that…. Everything has worked perfect. Every bus connect, every mountainguide, cook, porter , driver and so on worked perfect. They worked hand in hand and together and — we had the feeling, they had fun together and also with us. We had also the feeling, to be welcome every time, this was a very good feeling, wow… Also on tour, we felt that everybody took care on us. Every cook did his best, the meals were always tasty and always more than we could eat. Every porter, bus driver, donkey driver and particulary the tour guides worked wonderful. The trekking guides Eli and Mayumi, the mountain guides Marco, David and Wilder gave us a very save feeling, especially Wilder while climbing Alpamayo. Also a very nice time we spent in Morales guest house, thank you to Yovana and the other girl, it was very heartly. So we can say, this was a perfect tour and the time was too short, thank you for the very professional and heartly execution of all you made. Muchas gracias to everybody, hasta luego !! So I only can say thank you from myself for the group for the very nice time, we hope to see you again !! best regards, best wishes to you, your families and all the members of the agency heartly greetings Edmund and Lissy for the group

Di Westaway / Australia/ Climbing Expedition August 2016

Hi Anne,
Just want to thank you, Hisao and the whole expedition team for an awesome adventure in the Peruvian mountains. Their attention to detail was exceptional and they took great care of us at every moment. The food was fabulous and porters devoted. We learned a lot from our guides, particularly Carlos, who is a passionate and professional teacher. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Peruvian Andes Adventures as an awesome travel company who really understand the needs of wild women climbing and trekking in Peru.
Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday.
Wild Wishes,
Di Westaway

Megan / USA / Santa Cruz Trek 4 days April 2015

Very personal – especially for a slightly weaker walker needing a slower pace – so kind. Eli was fantastic – set a great pace. Donkeys were happy – completely top quality. Loved my first experience in the Andes. Glamourous + camping = Glamping – I felt like I was on Safari. Distances were good. Eli, Jorge & Richard are a fantastic team

Hana / Chez Republic / Olleros to Carhuascansha & Chavin Trek 6 days May 2015

We can glowingly recommend this trek with Peruvian Andes Adventures to all interested people

Corrina & Russ / Canada/ Alpamayo Circuit to Ulta May 2015

I would like to comment what a great team your company is – from Anne answering my numerous emails & recommending this trip – to Heimer our knowledgeable guide – to the chef (Jorge & Antonio) who made gourmet meals with amazing presentation – to the friendly efficient donkey drivers. We had high expectations for our trips in Cusco by XXXXX set the bar very high but Peruvian Andes Adventures surpassed the expectations. It was great to see the whole crew Guide, cook & donkey driver working together to get the tasks done & always laughing together & having a good time

Tom & Karen / Huayhuash Trek 12 days June 2015

Tom/ Overall comment, excellent committed team with guide, cook & two donkey drivers doing everything to make our excursion fun, interesting, comfortable & safe. My wife & I had an experience that makes us want to return to this region of Peru & bring friends and family to join us on an excursion with Peruvian Andes Adventures. David our guide is a walking encyclopaedia of flowers and mountains. His knowledge of mountain weather & trails kept us safe & prepared each day. His gentle pace allowed our bodies to adapt to the altitude & still arrive at lunch or campaments on schedule. He was extremely patient with our passion for photography (1114 photos on my camera) where stopping for flowers or landscape was very frequent. He waited & answered our many questions. Mayumi – our dedicated, entertaining & talented cook I think of as “The Buddha of Abundance” or simply “Buddha of Happiness”. She invented, concocted, prepared & delighted us every meal & snack with a varied fresh & delicious menu…. We were amazed at this womans abilities, an orchestra of knives, spoons & pots. Fabulous! Our highest praises to you (Mayumi). “Jimmy & Roger” – not being able to become more acquainted with these two respectful, even deferrable young men was largely due to my poor Spanish. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with their expertise with the animals, all of which appeared very healthy and cared for, and their support of camp selection and tent pitching. Their water collection, fishing expertise and just being the silent/quiet organisation behind the scenes every day for our comfort & enjoyment. I could go on with my praise and enthusiasm but that will suffice. From the moment Aimee met us at the bus station, we felt like royalty. Your services are world –class and so is your landscape scenery. I truly hope to return to experience more of it in your guiding hands. Ciao, Tom

Karen/ All aspects of our Huayhuash hike exceeded our expectations & left us committed to return again to include other trekking peaks & other treks with Peruvian Andes Adventures…. Having the luxury to carry a small day pack made hiking at higher altitudes much more comfortable. Arriving at camp to a tent ready for occupation was fantastic. Not to mention hot water for bathing and a teatime snack added to our delight. Having tea delivered to our tent for wake-up followed by warm bathing water is more than many hotels have to offer. Imagine “room service” in the mountains. We were absolutely delighted by the entire experience from pick up at the bus by Amy, to the pre-briefing by Eli. And Annes email communication met the mark for clarity and timeliness. A 5-star event in all aspects.

Alan / Canada / Huayhuash Trek 15 days with climbing Pumariniri& Diablo Mudo June 2015

Hi Anne, Its over a month since we completed our trek and I wanted to follow-up with you to let you know how much I enjoyed the trek. I can say, without hesitation, that the level of service from Peruvian Andes Adventures was superb – really, the highest I have encountered on any of my treks around the world. Willie, our guide, impressed us with his warmth, friendliness, expertise and his passion in sharing ‘his’ mountains with us. Of special merit was the food prepared by Yovanni – unbelievably fine eating! The additional support from Ana and Crisaldo and their unwavering happy presence made the trip so pleasant. I have left a positive review on Trip Advisor that I hope reflects the totally positive experience.
All the best, Alan

Joe & Peggy (second trek with us) Huayhuash 15 days with climbing June 2015

This was our second trip & the great experience & customer service was a key factor in our returning. The team supporting us this year was extraordinary. At 25 years old Willi was a phenomenal guide – his maturity, positive attitude & ability to remain unflappable & calm under stressful situations (a landslide that blocked a road on the way to camp 1) was amazing. We’ll long remember his sense of humour, broad smiles and laughter. Yovanni (our cook) was exceptional. He created wonderful & gourmet meals throughout our 15 day trek with very limited resources. His dishes could easily compete with the best restaurants in Huaraz. Crisaldo& Ana were delightful to work with, Crisaldo in particular took on many extra duties (including carrying the climbers gear to the peaks & actually climbing & providing support for the Diablo Mudo ascent. Ana was always positive and we loved her laugh. Oliveria,Rudolfo&Cristeli (donkey drivers) always made sure we arrived early & had the best of campsites available. Like all of the other team members they were polite &accommodating. As always – we enjoyed Hisao, Ami, Yovana & staff in MGH Guesthouse here in Huaraz. Congratulations on the expansion. Rooms are beautiful!

Patrick / Austria / Climbed Alpamayo & Tocllaraju June 2015

For me it was a perfect trip – my first 5000m & 6000er summit. Great 4 weeks, thank you for everything

Reinhard / Austria / Trekked Alpamayo Circuit & Climbed Pisco June 2015

A great trekking trip with the highlight “Pisco” . Will suggest/recommend the trip to my friends – thanks a lot!

Darren / USA / Huayhuash Trek with Siula Base Camp 14 days June 2015

Hi Anne,We got back home yesterday. It was a great trip. The trek was amazing. Tough but well worth the views. We were lucky with the weather — it wasalmost always sunny. The rain gear never left my backpack…… I enjoyed the company of the others who joined us on the trek. I think everyone liked the schedule you set up and the walks during the rest days. Freddy (the guide) and the whole staff did a great job on the trek. The food was phenomenal — still can’t figure out how the cooks were able to pull that off. It was a pleasure staying at the guesthouse and meeting Hisao, Eli and the other staff. They took good care of us (day hikes, transportation, breakfasts). Many thanks to you for making this happen and your patience dealing with all the e-mails. I appreciate it…..
Darren

Hannah / USA / Santa Cruz Trek 4 days July 2015

This has been such an amazing & easy trip. Everything was professional, explained clearly, & well thought out. From the airport in Lima, through the week, I didn’t have to worry. On the trek the food was amazing & everyone did a great job making it incredible. The only thing I would change is the length – I want a longer trek! The guides were helpful – adjusting to the different paces as well – I didn’t feel like I was waiting around a lot

Kyoko / Japan / Climbed Maparaju & Chopicalqui August 2015

I was really happy that we succeeded in the summit of Chopi. The guide Wilder was very friendly and helped us so much. The meals were very delicious. We asked you to use very limited oil for our meals & it was perfect. Wilder helped me when I felt very difficult to pass a large crevasse, & then I could pass it easily. Sunrise on the summit of Chopi was above my expectation – so nice! This trip will be my best memory. Thank you very much for everything. So I would like to say again to Wilder & the staffs that I was so happy with succeed in Chopi& all the trip with them

Steven / USA / Alpamayo Base camp Trek 8 days August 2015

This was one of the best trek vacations we have taken. The food was outstanding. We have never had such a high calibre of meals on a camping vacation. Our guide (Heimer) was extremely sensitive to our needs & accommodated our requirements. We even got Spanish lessons!

David / USA / Climbed Ishinca August 2015

Marco was the perfect guide for me. I have never had before a perfect guide. Calm, reliable, often funny. Antonio makes excellent omelettes. The Ishinca Valley is a beautiful trek, regardless of whether one wants to climb.

Robin / USA / Santa Cruz trek August 2015

People: Our guide, our chef, our donkey drivers were all & each amazing. Their level of concern & personal attention was outstanding. I enjoyed spending meals with them and would trek with the same crew again – hands down!

Communication: Anne was awesome. She helped us send $$ when we had problems, she sent us excellent pre-trip information. Thanks to her, we were exceptionally well prepared

Convenience: The door-to-door service is reasonable and impeccable. Thank you for covering all parts of our journey. We felt well taken care of and valued (not sold to!)

Denise & Kevin / USA : Santa Cruz Ulta Trek + Ishinca Climbing / May 2014second trip with PAA

Denise: Everything was outstanding. Rodolfo, Cesar, Iber& Marco were all excellent. A special thanks to Hisao for letting us delay the climb one day to wait for better weather. We will miss you all. Kevin: Everything from first contact to end of trek was handled superbly. Not much to add from previous positive reviews. You run a great operation. Hope to see you soon

Jakob / Canada / Climb Pisco & Yanapaccha / June 2014

Olga & I both had a great time. The guides did a good job at adapting to our novice level, helped us accomplish our objectives. Roberto the porter was especially attentive, & helped Olga a lot with her heavy backpack

Lilian (UK) & Chiara (Canada) / Huayhuash Trek 15 days / May 2014

I can hardly fault any of the trek. It was completely spectacularly superb! The guide Jorge was outstanding, gracious and totally professional. He never once lost his cool and was very patient with all our abilities and needs.. The cooks provided great food – absolutely outstanding. I was so surprised at how fresh the food was – I didn’t even think we would be getting fresh fruit. It was so much I had to turn food down because I was so well fed! And the hygiene was top quality for the environment. Finally – the donkey drivers Anhill&Suddam were rapid, professional and very useful. They always got the best spots! Again, I had NO bad comments and thank you for a lovely two weeks.

…… I would love to return for another trek and highly recommend this company. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Michael / Canada / Climbed Yanapaccha / July 2014

The Yanapaccha climb turned out to be exactly what I hoped for: challenging, scenic, stimulating, rewarding, and expertly led by a credentialed and experienced local guide. Your advice regarding acclimatization hikes – to Laguna Churrup and then Laguna Ahuac – was very helpful in preparing me for the climb. Marco was an exceptional guide – and I write that having climbed and trekked with many. He was very consistent, both on the acclimatization hikes and on the climb. He was very aware of the capabilities, pace and condition of his clients. And on summit day I felt he maintained the right balance between ambition and safety, especially when questionable conditions led him to adjust our route. I’ve already recommended him (and your company) to another person. The staff at Peruvian Andes Adventure were very helpful, professional and courteous. At the front end Anne was timely and clear in answering the many questions I had about the climb…. My stay at the Morales GuestHouse was very enjoyable. It was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. I liked that the GuestHouse was a short walk to the town centre yet not in the town centre. This made for quiet and relaxing nights.

Hisao, thank you again for a first-rate experience and I’m very happy to recommend Peruvian Andes Adventures and the Morales GuestHouse to others.

Cheryl/ Leader of group 10 people/ USA / Alpamayo Base Camp Trek / May 2014

Logistics worked perfectly with no fuss or confusion. Staff were always friendly and cheerful. So many special touches (candles, cake, Pisco sours!) When some participants had to leave early, arrangements were efficient and timely.

Eli & Marco were very sensitive to the needs & issues of people in the group. I wouldn’t want to change a thing!

Walter / Mountain guide from Italy/ leader of a small group climbing Vallunaraju & Alpamayo /July 2014

Dear Anne, We are back in South Tyrol now for quite some time and are back in our jobs…. We like to remember the great time we had in Peru and would not want to do without it again. It was a special vacation for the three of us and a fantastic experience both in Huaraz as well as in the mountains. Please send our regards to Hisao and especially to Jorche – the thoughtful, helpful, and funny mountain guide – as well as to Antonio, who cooked delicious food fors. Thank you very much for the good organization because everything worked out perfectly.

Irene / UK / Santa Cruz trek /June 2014

This is the best trek/walk I have done. I only have positive comments. Eli seemed to find the perfect pace for me and it was a pleasure to have him with us on the trek. The food was great and with the help of Cesar’s “special tea” the stomach bug which I had at the beginning of the trek seemed to disappeared. All the team were cherry and made us feel welcome. The organisation from Lima, day treks, Morales Guesthouse etc has been first class and the advice to take warmer sleeping bags and pole made my trek easier. I would recommend your company to anyone and everyone.

Kathrin / Austria / Olleros to Carhuascansha trek / June 2014

I can’t think of any improvements. The organisation was perfect, the food amazing, the scenery spectacular, and the guide gave us plenty of interesting information about the mountains, plants & animals & local customs

Lynn / USA / Santa Cruz to Alpamayo Trek/ June 2014

Overall the services provided by staff was exceptional. Everyone on the crew was very helpful. The food was outstanding – far better than any of us expected. MGH Guesthouse accommodation & service was outstanding at a reasonable price. We appreciated recommendations on restaurants. Thank you very much

Carole & Diane / Australia / Climbing Instruction Course / August 2014

I have travelled on many treks and this trip by far exceeded my expectations. Excellent guides & cook, service was fantastic. Giovani is a CHEF, not a cook. He makes exceptions food. This is a selling point – fresh local produce to keep climbers fit & healthy while climbing

“Climbing Vallunaraju with Peruvian Andes Adventures was awesome. The guides were exceptional & the food nutritious & delicious. I can’t wait to come back to climb Alpamayo with Carlos & Wilder”
Di , CEO Women on Top

Paulo / Leader of Group of 16 people/ Huayhuash Mini Trek / July 2014

  (Second trek with us)
Dear Anne and Hisao,
It took longer than I expected, but here I am getting back to thank you guys for the wonderful time we had and also to make a few comments about our trip. Once again we were delighted with the excellent service provided by Peruvian Andes and are looking forward to get back!

The first person I would like to praise is Anne, who has been always patient and helpful through all the process of organizing this trip. Managing such a large group of ever changing requests is not easy and she mastered it!

I would also like to thank Hisao, the guy who made it actually happen. As always, everything worked just perfectly, and we know that’s thanks to him.

On the Trek, once again Nestor was a great guide. He managed very well such a diverse group, taking care of the weakest and letting the the strong ones burn their energy. The cooks did a wonderful job in feeding us with always delicious food and even washed some of our clothes after a muddy walk in the rain. Roberto and Marcelino deserve a very special note, as they not only did their job very well, but always did it with a smile in their faces, and that makes a big difference. The camps were great, very well located.

Bob / UK/ Santa Cruz trek / July 2014

Hello Anne, Hisao and Eli, we have been back in England for a few days now and wanted to contact you to express our gratitude and thanks for making our Santa Cruz trek such a great experience. It was clear that every aspect of the organisation and execution of the trek had been carefully examined and refined, the end result of which was a truely most memorable journey.

The standard of the equipment was first rate, we particularly liked the four man tent for the two of us and the snug sleeping bags. In our experience with other trekking companies in the Cusco area, this is an area where compromises are made by them to maximise profits. The standard of the food was excellent and a never ending source of amazement to us with what can be done with a solitary gas ring. Mayumi always put a smile on our faces with her happy persona. Eli was always patient, understanding and accomodating when we found the going tough and needed a breather. We never felt rushed or under pressure so were able to fully appreciate the amazing scenery. Our first visit to this part of Peru has most certainly been something to savour. The Morales guest house was also superb. Comfortable and reasonably priced with friendly staff, it was a great place for us to rest both before and after the trek.

Special thanks to Eli for suggesting pictures to me that I would have missed otherwise. We will treasure these always and remember you all with fond affection.

Michael / Germany / Huayhuash Trek 13 days / July 2014

Dear Anne, almost two weeks at home after Peru I have time to give you a feedback of our journey to Peru…. It was a wonderful trek! Everything was well organized and Heimar a very professional guide. Alfonso our cook was preparing really good meals so I didn’t loose any weight. Leo and Kesler (!?) good dunky drivers. The whole journey was organized perfect. The transfer in Lima was on time, buses to and from Lima comfortable. The information we received was very useful. All together perfect!…. I only can recommend Peruvian Andes Adventures!!

Carlos / USA / Climbing Instruction & Climbed Ishinca & Urus September 2013

At all times I felt welcome, attended to and very safe. Without any reservation I will highly recommend Peruvian Andes Adventures to everyone. You all far exceeded my expectations with your professionalism & sincerity in everything you all did. I sincerely thank each of you for your tireless efforts. Carlos

Richard / UK/ Santa Cruz Trek & Pisco climb / August 2013

We had an amazing Santa Cruz Trek. George, the cook – provided the best food we ate whilst in Peru. Freddy our guide took genuine interest in what he was showing us, and was helpful with medicine when my partner was ill during the trek with a bug that she arrived with. Our Pisco climb was well organised and we couldn’t have had a more incredible experience.

Mike Group 07 friends / Australia / Alpamayo Trek + climbed Yanapaccha / Quillqueyhuanca to Cojup Trek / July 2013

  (Second Trek with us)
… Eli, Henry, Ceasr & Roger provided excellent leadership & service. The trek route was well planned, attractive, always interesting and well suited to our age group (Geoffrey)

… You had a great team on the main trek. They worked very well together, they were very friendly, and were always happy & laughing. Cesars food was excellent. His savoury pizza was superb! His soups were great. Sometimes we had too much food & we couldn’t eat it all (Simon)

… The staff were always helpful & Courteous. They all enjoyed themselves which made for an enjoyable and happy trip for us (Prue)

… we appreciated Eli’s leadership and calm demeanour and his sense of humour. Cesar is a gem, his cooking alone is excellent but his personality bubbles out of the cook tent and helps like create a humourous camp. Loved the table lunches when conditions allowed. (Mike)

Sharon / Canada/ Cordillera Huayhuash Trek July 2013

  (Second Trek with us)
I am a repeat customer with great reason. My first trip with Peruvian Andes I found the service to be not only professional but pleasant. Peruvian Andes has found workers who love what they do and this transfers into the way they deliver their service. I had high expectations for the second trip and those expectations were met. Thanks for terrific memories.

Sam & Birdy / USA /Santa Cruz Llanganuco Trek July 2013

… I couldn’t believe what wonderful meals were possible out in the middle of the mountains. I enjoyed watching Cesar preparing the meals in the cook tent & eating as a family group … Due to the superior quality of your services I will be very pleased to highly recommend Peruvian Andes Adventures to anyone interested in having a wonderful experience.

Adam / USA / Olleros to Caruascanhsa & Chavin Trek 07 days June 2013

Very Happy with everything. “We really enjoyed our trek. This was our first ever “trekking” holiday & we feel after our experience that we would like to do more. The food was excellent & there was more than enough there. The guide (Heimer) was very informative & the pace was perfect for us. All the staff were very friendly and we were well looked after. We hope to do some mountaineering & if we can get back we wouldn’t look at another company.

Diane & Peter / Australia / 07 day Santa Cruz Ulta trek June 2013

The entire crew was a delight to be with & showed professionalism in everything they did. David was a perfect guide – always willing to help out & had our welfare at heart the entire trip. Elias did an amazing job producing 3 wonderful meals a day – we certainly never felt hungry. We would be more than happy to recommend your tour company to others. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Collin / USA / Santa Cruz Llanganuco Trek June 2013

Overall our experience with Peruvian Andes Adventures was exceptional. We couldn’t think of a single occasion where our expectations were not met. In fact our expectations were constantly being exceeded by the PAA staff & equipment. From a PERFECTLY SIZED TENT (which also had great insulation) to sleep in to delicious food :- a caring & courteous guide to an excellent & very considerate cook; – and an exceptionally fast & careful donkey driver, we could not have been more blown away by our journey across the Santa Cruz Trail with your company. Thanks for the great time – Collin

George / USA / Family of Four – did Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu + Santa Cruz Ulta Trek 06 days

Both our treks were superb with wonderfully professional service that were unmatched in our many years of adventure travel. The pre-trip planning communication with Anne & Hisao all the way through the many details of our itineraries were excellent. Our special vegan meals requests were graciously and deliciously prepared with fantastic Peruvian flavours. Our guides were outstanding. We also wanted to comment on the inventive style and superb quality of our cooks. Everyone in your organisation was extremely professional & delightful to work with. I wanted to send a special thank you to Anne, Hisao, Eli & Bryan

It was Grahams second trek with us:
Hi Anne, Another great trip completed with Peruvian Andes Adventures! everything went as planned , no nasty surprises or incidents , Hisau took good care of us as did all the guides, cooks and staff . Food was amazing ! our whole group of nine enjoyed the total experience . Also thanks for your kind hospitality at Morales Guesthouse , you made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Thankyou again for your attention to detail which ensured another successful trek in Peru . I know you’ll be getting repeat customers from some of the nine I can’t pick out any highlight as every day had one ! For me , having this opportunity to spend time with my son meant a lot . Best wishes for successful trekking season. Best regards Graham

Peter / USA/ Olleros to Chavin trek April 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Morales Guesthouse. Even more, we loved our three-day trek with Eli Morales…. We did the three-day walk from Orellos t oChavin. It is not difficult, although some acclimatization is recommended due to the 4700m pass– Having done treks in the Cuzco and Abancay region, I have to say that this little Cordilleras Blancas trip was my favorite. And the Morales brothers were by far the most professional operators I worked with. Chavin de Huantar is absolutely worth visiting–it essentially provides the cultural template for understanding much of where Incan cosmology/architecture originated from. We are grateful to Hisao and Eli Morales for their kind attention on the trek, and the low-key ways in which they guided us to a deeper understanding of Peruvian history, both ancient and contemporary.

Asher / Group of 10 from Israel / Cordillera Huayhuash Trek with Cuzco & Machu Picchu Tours August 2012

Dear Anne, It is time to send u a GREAT THANK YOU!!! For a wonderful tour and trek we had with Peruvian Andes Adventures. It is all about people and service and u (as a company) proved to be one of the best companies, if not the best, we have ever trekked with. And as u know we have trekked all over the world in all 5 continents.

Your service start with the offer………. I was convinced to go ahead with your company from the start of communication because of the fast, reliable, supportive, knowledgeable and added value information u brought to the table. The information regarding the tour is extensive, going into details of who is going to wait, where, tickets, vouchers, needed telephones and any other detailed information that made our life easier, confident, with no hesitation who/when/what should be done.

And then was the service in Peru. Great, excellent, supportive – all those words cannot express the service you are providing!!!! It is more than that!!!!

The people who were supporting us in Lima and Cusco tour were very high level, solved any issue very fast and with a smile. All ground services (hotels and train) was more than great!!!!

The service and people in the trek were the best I’ve trekked with. Very professional service. tents and all other equipment in the trek was high level. Nestor was so good.. not only as a trek guide but as a person who care about the people. Looking after us like we are his kids…. and giving us the confident we have somebody to lean on.

The cook and the team – what can be said more than we asked to reduce the food. Because the food was so good and so many dishes per day, we started to gain weight instead of losing.. The camp build and carry was excellent.

Anne, we are your best ambassadors in Israel. Anyone who will ask regarding tour in Peru will get only one Company name – Peruvian Andes Adventures.

Asher

Ethel & Charlie from Scotland / FOURTH TREK WITH US / Alpamayo Circuit August 2012

Our fourth year to Huaraz and another great trek. … Rodolfo..(guide) As always he is very professional and courteous and keeps to a nice slow pace which is excellent for us. Mario & Alfonzo also work very hard to ensure that we have everything that we need. Alfonzo did a great job of drying Charlies boots after he waded across a river in them. You offer a first class service from the first inquiry to the completion. We have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone interested in coming to Huaraz. Keep up the great work.

Kevin & Beverley / UK/ Santa Cruz trek & climbed Pisco June 2012

We had a fantastic holiday & everything was excellent. Reached the summit of Mount Pisco. Beautiful scenery. Very high standards of service.

Bob & Mike / Canada / Cordillera Huayhuash Mini Trek with Cuzco & Amazon Tours May 2012

  (Second trek with us)
Anne: I wanted to thank you and the all the staff at PAA for a memorable trip on the Cordillera Huayhuash Mini Trek in May. The views were amazing, the hiking breath taking and the weather superb. Mashua, Marco and Cesar did an outstanding job. Cesar’s cooking was excellent as expected. This was my second trip with PAA having done the Santa Cruz trek in 2007. You did a fine job booking the rest of our trip to Cusco, Macchu Pichu and then Puerto Maldonado. We also enjoyed the Morales Guesthouse in Huaraz. Johanna took good care of us. I told my friends that your service is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks again. Bob & Mike – Canada

Peter / Group of 8 from Australia / Salkantay Inca Trail Trek & Alpamayo Circuit Trek May 2012

Hi Anne, We are back from our South America trip so I thought I would let you know how the arrangements for our two treks went. They looked after us very well in Cusco and on the Salkantay Inca Trail. Doris was very sweet and all the transfers were on time and well managed. We were very glad we’d chosen to do the Salkantay extension as the scenery was spectacular, and we arrived on the Inca Trail half a day ahead of the other trekkers, which gave us pleasant walking and quiet campsites. Our guide was terrific and the crew very dedicated, the chef met all our needs regarding diet and the food was plentiful. Arriving at Machu Picchu was a long-held dream and we were not disappointed, although the weather was variable both days we were there.

In Huaraz, everyone at Peruvian Andes Adventures was terrific and we loved the guesthouse, especially sunny breakfasts on the terrace. We were impressed by the professionalism of the trek organisation, quality of tents and so on. We found the Alpamayo trek pretty hard at times but the breathtaking scenery more than made up for that, so many awesome mountains, lakes, glaciers (and great weather, I think we might have been the first trek of the season not to have some rain). Rodolfo was an excellent guide and we all became very friendly with him and enjoyed the company of the others in the crew. You said you would send us off with your best cook, and you sure did! Yovani (if that’s the right spelling) is a genius and his meals were delicious, subtle and beautifully presented; we were amazed at what came out of their backpacks at lunchtimes especially.

Florian / Switzerland / Climbed Pisco, Chopicalqui & Huascaran June 2012

*Very professional agency. *Excellent guides, porters, cooks, donkey drivers
*really good “all inclusive package” & quality gear like tents, kitchen tents, cars, related equipment.

Ethel & Charlie / Cordillera Huayhuash Trek / August 2011

This is our third walking holiday with PAA we completed the huayhuash trek thanks to the patience and professionalism of Rodolfo who is a wonderful guide. Marco worked hard supply of food provided by Alfonso was excellent and the last us going. The two donkey drivers worked delight in the background. It was an experience that will not be forgotten. Thanks to everyone for a great time.

Tom / USA / Climbed Pisco July 2011

Anne, I just wanted to let you know my son Roy and I had a great time on our trip. Hisao, Eli, Ami, and others made sure all our needs were met and it couldn’t have been easier as far as the accommodations, transfers, bus, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our climb and plan to return next year or year after. We felt right at home. I will be recommending you to all my friends who are interested in the same type of trip. I look forward to our next visit to Huaraz and the Cordillera Blanca. Sincerely,Tom

Bob / Canada / Cordillera Huayhuash Trek July 2011

Peruvian Andes is a top trekking company to rival all others. Great staff who are all courteous, knowledgable, and attentive. The food was the best I have eaten on the trek and I was very appreciative for the attention given to my dietary needs.

Marcel & Lili / Romania / Santa Cruz Ulta Trek & Lares Trek to Machu Picchu July 2011

Hello Anne, and hello to your entire great team, We, Marcel and Lili, want to thank you very much for offering us a great time in the wonderful country of Peru. Group from Tropical Classrooms / Climbing Instruction Course on Yanapaccha June 2011

Awesome awesome trip. Rodolfo, the cook, porters and drivers were great. I have zero complains I would recommend this trip 100% Excellent at everything!! Exceeded expectations in every way.
Great guide, cook, etc. food was unbelievable.

Michel & Friends / Canada / Alpamayo Base camp Trek July 2011

We were pleased with the professionnalism and kindness of, all the staff accompanying us. All of them were working hard long before the sun rise and after the sun set, were dedicated to offering us the best service, and ready to provide assistance and help in case of need. Cirillo and Javier, in charge of the mules and the equipment, had a daily challenge: to get the tents ready before our arrival at the campsite. Giovanni and Iber, the cook and his assistant, were preparing very tasty and healthy dishes which we enjoyed a lot. The food on the trek was abundant with a lot of vegetables and fruits (some peruvian fruits which we discovered and enjoyed). Some desserts, like chocolate cakes, were a real pleasure after a long walking day at 4000m and over. We still wonder how they can manage to cook such good dishes in a tent. Our guide Elva, was also quite knowledgeabe about the area, and always available to answer our questions. Since we did not follow exactly the original trek plan, she had to make decisions, and we must admit she made the right choices since we saw a lot of extraordinary landscapes and even the sun set light on the Alpamayo (and shot hundreds of photos). Also the guides we had for the four day treks we did, the people we met at the office, the drivers, etc., all of them were friendly and efficient. Finally, our special thanks to Anne Thomson for answering our mails as quickly as we were able to write them. Her answers were detailed and very helpful. If we had to come back for another trek, we would surely contact Peruvian Andes again as we would recommmend this company without hesitation to any people willing to make a trek in the beautiful Cordillera Blanca. Best regards, Suzanne , Daniel ,Michel

Loie and her family / Santa Cruz trek July 2011

Internet interactions were very personalized to my questions so from the beginning I had trust in PAA. This was outstanding. We loved it. We were awed by the mountains. Our guide keeps a good pace that worked for all us. The food was delicious. Morales Guest House was perfect for the highest before and after the trek. I would recommend Peruvian Andes Adventures anyone coming to Peru.

Jon / USA / Alpamayo Base Camp Trek August 2011

  (Second Trek with us)
Anne,,Thank you for all the documents. All are in order. I’m always excited to return to Huaraz and a group of 6 is a very nice size. As usual, Peruvian Andes seems to be way ahead of other tour groups not only in the service but in the information provided to your clients. I particularly appreciated the advice about the bus travel and avoiding the food. Staying healthy is of primary concern and it wise to avoid any questionable food.

Mark / USA / Huayhuash trek June 2011

Hello Hisao — Susan and I were sorry to miss you on return from our Huayhuash trek. I think we gave you the highest possible score on the form you asked us to complete, but there wasn’t enough time to add more comments. So, this is to tell you that we think you run an absolutely first-class operation; your always prompt and thorough responses to my emails, the performance of your guides and other staff, the arrangement of our day trips, storage of items in your almacen, etc. We really had a fun time with you on the Cordillera Negra hike. The crew you assembled for us for the Huayhuash was top-notch. Marco, Jorge, and Liberato were all wonderful, and it was a bit sad to part company with them at the end. We had a great time with them — good conversation and some laughs. Jorge is an outstanding cook and very friendly person, and I can’t imagine a better, more congenial guide than Marco Liberato is more quiet and serious by nature, but we also had a good time with him and noticed how well he treated his donkeys and horse ………..

Graham / Canada/ Alpamayo Base Camp Trek June 2010

Hisao, To let you know I arrived home safely last night after a memorable and amazing time in Peru . The trek will be forever in my memory. I can’t say enough about the attention to detail by you and your staff which made for such a successful and safe time. The extra effort by yourself regarding the bus journey to Lima, arranging for Paul to meet me and obtain the airline ticket to Cusco Thank you again.

Keiko-Santa-Cruz-Ulta

Keiko / Group of 4 ladies from Japan / Santa Cruz Ulta trek May 2010

Dear Anne, Hisao & Eli,
We are now back in Japan!
We could fully enjoy the trekking in Cordillera Blanca!! All of us were always well and could walk joyfully with good acclimatization!! It completely owes to good Guide Nestor!! Without him we would not be able to succeed walking!! His guiding is perfect!! We also enjoyed talking with Nestor!! We also enjoyed all food & dishes the good cook Cesar served!! His soupe is so good!! He served different dishes every day inspite of the remote high mountain area!! Fresh fruits & food in the high camping area were surprising to us!! Assistant guide Grisaldo was always helpful and the rescue horse (which carried our backpack) made it possible that we could safely walk all the way!! The donkey drivers also worked very well helping some of us folding the sleeping bags into the bag!! Everything above given to us were perfect!!
Anne, we, four, really appreciate your kind, sincere and quick reply which made our trip so successful one!! (My English is not good enough to express what we feel.)
Hisao, We really thank you for your good company which is systematically well organized by you & Eli. We love PAA as well as Cordillera Blanca! Again, thank you.

John Australia / Technical Climbing Expedition / July 2010

Hi Anne, Just a short note to thank you for your assistance in organising mine and annes four mountain expedition. The entire trip was awesome. Both Wilder and George very safe and it was so good doing the west face of Tocllaraju and the north ridge of Artesonraju rather than the usual routes. Anne, I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous trip we all had. It certainly was the best ever for me – it was my 6th trekking trip in Peru. In the past, I traveled with XXXXX and your organization was far and away the best. The food was fabulous thanks to Caesar’s talents. Everything else was first rate including the 15th day we traveled back to Huaraz from the last camp site. Thanks again for all your support and I certainly will talk up Peruvian Andes Adventures to my friends in Boulder Co. Don’t hesitate to have potential clients email me if they have any questions. JON

Andrew & Leah / USA / Huayhuash Trek / August 2010

We liked the use of local resources (donkey drivers, food), appreciated that the donkey drivers ate with us at night & not on their own. Overall thought it was a well run trek through a beautiful area. Cesar is a great cook!

  (Second Trek with Us)
Over all three of our climbing adventures al staff, guides, cooks, porters & donkey drivers looked after us wit great care & consideration, even in our moments of terror and triumph in the snow. Due to our lack of Spanish it was great to have guides with such good English. It made it easier during the instruction and any incidents that occurred. This is our second trip with Peruvian Andes Adventures. Top Marks! A special thanks must go to all involved to make our second trip here one not to forget.

Will & Debra/ USA / Santa Cruz Trek August 2009

  (Second Trek with Us)
It was a fantastic experience from start (arranging the trek) to finísh. Anne was very helpful in making all our travel and trek arrangements in a timely manner & patiently reminded us to fill out necessary forms. Hisao met us at the guesthouse upon arrival and welcomed us back. He filled us in our trek and helped us obtain our necessary rental equipment. Edita was a skilled trek leader who successfully met the needs of people of varied interests & capabilities. Since we were all interested in photography, she made sure we were up early & to the sites with the best views before the clouds came in. Mayumi & Marcellino were so much fun and excellent at their jobs as were the donkey drivers. Huayhuash was our first trek with Peruvian Andes Adventures and we enjoyed it so much we came back. The caring and efficient staff make us want to come back again.

Tim / USA / Huayhuash Trek July 2009

  (Second Trek with Us)
I was most pleased with the food. It was of high quality, fresh, varied & delicious. The guide David was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and fun, He was helpful as well. Thanks for a great trip!

Paola / Leader of a Group of 13 from Italy/ Huayhuash Trek June 2009

Dear Hisao, . Once again, thank you so much for the nice experience we had in Perù and the marvellous hiking we did around the Cordillera Huayhuash. Everybody of our group was very impressed by the excellent organization of your agency and the kindness of all your staff. The guides, the cook and his assistants, the donkey drivers took very good care of us. The food was delicius (this is true twice as we are Italians) and the cooks really surpriced us many times with unbelivable dishes. I also very much appreciated your attention and sensibility for the enviroment. Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Huyhuash, but also all the surrounding landscapes are marvellous places of nature, and any effort to protect them are extremely important. Do not hesitate to give my e-mail address if sombodybody shoul wish information about our experience in Perù with your agency. It would be a pleasure for me.

Dave & Pam / USA / Climbed Urus & Ishinca May 2009

You have provided us a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was great …. if not careful a person might gain weight in camp. Guiding service was truly great with the first rule being that of safety which is what it should be. We were slow but the guides patience and encouragement got us to the top – couldn’t have made it without him!

Lane / USA / Huayhuash Trek July 2009

I will recommend your company to other trekkers. I truly have no complaints for service and feel I got good value for price.

David / USA / Trekked Santa Cruz & Climbed Pisco & Yanapaccha May 2009

I was exceptionally grateful for the professional service rendered by my guide Walter & his father Jorge who served as the cook. Walter maintained a slow steady pace and regularly inquired about my needs. On the mountains he provided expertise which made me feel very secure. A great team, could not have been better!

Jennifer / Canada / Family Trek in Cordillera Huayhuash June 2009

Hi Anne,
We’re back at home and already at work, quite a contrast from the mountains!
You probably saw from our survey that we were very happy with every aspect of the trek — each member of the crew was absolutely terrific at their job. The weather was generally very good for us, and somehow (I think we have the donkey-drivers to thank) we had absolutely the best campsite at every stop. . Although the trek was certainly not too easy (at least not for some of us — Tim seemed to race past everyone on the trail every day), we completed it without any major difficulties and we think the 13-day option was just perfect for our family. Thanks for your guidance from the very start of the planning stages.
Wishing you the best, Jennifer

Kevin / USA / Climbing Instruction Course & Yanapaccha Climb September 2009

Guide! Look were both very good. My Brother and I had a great time on this trip, everything was very well organized. Hisao was great . When I got bronchitis . got doctor and took me to get medicine right away, switched a rest day for us. this was great and I would came back because of this kind of service *over all – great trip – thank you.

David / Santa Cruz Trek / September 2009

I’ve just returned from the most amazing place! I joined a group that completed the Santa Cruz trek which offered a spectcular visit to the Andes mountains. I found Peruvian Andes Adventures while searching the web for a company that offered guided treks in Peru. They offered a variety of treks and I was seeking quality and expertise. Hisao Morales and everyone who works for this company offers just that. They are experts in their field. From the first contact por email, until I left the beautiful and friendly city of Huaraz, everything that i could want was provided. I was travelling with my brother in law and the airline lost his backpack with everything he planned to use for the entire trip. Not to worry, Hisao and company made sure that we had everything needed for an extended trek right down to boots that worked well. No blisters! All equipment they provided is first class expedition quality stuff that you can count on. As an airline captain, I place the highest priority on a safe operation. Safety is maximIzed when the person in charge is competent and kowledgeable. Hisao and Eli are EXPERTS! They are both knowledgeable and talented people. I feel safe in their hands and confident that all of the details are taken care of prior to embarking. Our guide, Edita, was outstanding! She balanced the varied skill levels of the six in our group very well and was a fascinating person to talk with about anything related to the environmental workings of the region. She really made the trip an enjoyable experience for all, including the crew! Everyone had a good time. Our cooks were superb! They prepared plenty of the best food that we had while en Peru. The menu was varied and delicious and mealtime was an eagerly anticipated event. Also, we had the assistance of a first rate team of drivers who set up and broke down the campsites, dug the latrines and monitored the weather during the night while constantly adjusting the tents to repel some nasty rain and wind during the third night. The trek itself was beautiful. If you are seeking high altitudes and adventure, the 5 day Santa Cruz trek is perfect. The last day was really interesting as we traversed the small farms and got to interact with local people. There is no place more beautiful or as rewarding to hike through that I’ve found on earth than Peru, and one can’t imagine a better run company than Peruvian Andes Adventures. I look forward to another trip with them next summer.

Sam &Peter/USA/ Climbed Ishinca & Tocllaraju June 2008

While on our climb of Tocllaraju, we were witness to an accident. A group of 2 French tourists and their French guide fell into a large crevice that opened up under their feet as we approached the peak. I cannot say enough for how professionally and quickly our guides took control of the situation and went about helping those in trouble. Later, I found out that it was both of their first accidents. This surprised me, because based on their actions to help and control the situation, one never would have known. Peruvian Andes Adventures is a great guide company that provides a quality experience with great professional guides.

Barbara & Sam/ USA/ Cordillera Huayhuash Trek June 2008

General Comments: Your company was wonderful to work with, from initial emails right down to the last day. A couple examples: we are vegan and the meals involved quite a bit of extra work, but this was done every meal with care and inventiveness. Also: Eli was willing to rework the itinerary, and it resulted in a markedly better trip. He and the crew went way out of their way to ensure that we had the best trip possible. If we are back in this area we would definitely go with Peruvian Andes again and we would certainly recommend it to others.

Harry / Canada/ Cordillera Huayhuash Trek June 2008

General Comments: I have done a fair amount of trekking with different groups, and Peruvian Andes Adventures are by far the best company that I have ever hiked with. Absolutely outstanding in every way. I already have, and will continue to recommend your company to any of my friends who may be hiking or climbing in Peru. The guide and all the crew were absolutely outstanding in every way. They worked very hard, everything was set up for us, and all the food was just great. Having a hot drink brought to our tent first thing in the morning was a really nice touch. Anne was absolutely great in providing all the information that I needed to plan my trip, and she was also very helpful with other details like accommodation and transportation. HARRY V

James / New Zealand Kiwi/: (spent a month trekking & climbing in September).

«Thanks guys for showing me such a great time! I was spoilt rotten and really appreciated both the flexibility and attention to detail of all the organisation and things you did for me to make my trip such a great experience. Right from when I first got off the plane in Lima, to staying at the guesthouse, each day of the hikes, tours, Santa Cruz trek and the 3 climbs you put on for me, till the very end. My first experience of Peru was not only a memorable one because of the people I met and awesome things I did, but you also helped make it such an easy and safe one for a kiwi gringo with no ability to speak any Spanish! I was impressed with all of the staff and how friendly and helpful they were to me and other clients, and how professional each of my guides and their assistants were during the month of my stay. I came to Peru unsure of what it would be like; I met some cool people, saw some amazing sights, and was fortunate to have a few successful summits to top it all off! By the time I left, I not only had an awesome time but also made some new friends. I’d love to come back sometime and would have no hesitation recommending PAA to anyone for both value for money and a great time!Cheers James!»

Mike &Pam / USA / Santa Cruz Trek March 2008

While we were trekking Pam and I greatly enjoyed our banter with Guides Eli, and Edita as well as Mayumi and Victor. We were especially pleased to see that Victor, our Donkey Driver was treated with the same dignity and respect accorded us as clients. It’s only been a few weeks since we left Peru, however we feel like we need to call and see how you guys are all doing!! We had a truly wonderful experience!Thank you Hisao, Eli, Mayumi, and Victor for your superb service, and for your generous hospitality. We’ve traveled to many places in the world but Huarez and Peruvian Andes Adventures is an experience we’ll never forget. Please feel free to provide our email address and or telephone number on request to anyone who has questions about the truly exceptional level of service I’m confident they will be provided by your company.

Donna – USA / Huayhuash trek & Climbing Pisco 2007

Just a heart-felt Thank You to all the guides and staff – Anne, Hisao, Eli, Henry, Walter, Cesar, William – who made my vacation in the Andes such an enjoyable adventure! You take extraordinarily good care of your clients, so we can simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash. I would love to return someday … perhaps to climb another summit? J Best regards, Donna

Peter/ Canada/ Santa Cruz Treks & Climbed 3 Peaks Ishinca Valley 2007

Anne- the two weeks I spent with los dos Cesars (Cesar Vargas el guia y Cesar el cuchinero) and the portero Cyrillo and the various arieros could not have been better. Eli and the crew did everything they could to make our trip a success – from picking us up at the bus station at the beginning to Eli’s dropping me off at the bus station on the eve of a rumoured road blockade the next day to everything in between. I would definitely consider another trip with Peruvian Andes next summer and wold be very happy to have the same guide and cook. Last fall I spend two months in Nepal doing some trekking in the Annapurna and Everest regions. By the time I came home I had lost 8 kg. When I told my wife via email of the daily efforts of Cesar the cook she could only say- «I guess you won’t be losing any weight this time!» The Santa Cruz trek was an excellent acclimatization for the three peaks we did afterwards; the peaks themselves were not all that technical (and when they were- e.g. the final bit of Tocllaraju) Cesar Vargas showed that he was totally capable. It certainly was a thrill to actually stand on top of a 6000 m peak, given my 3800m Canadian Rockies perspective. Again, relay my thanks to Eli and crew. Again, relay my thanks to Eli and crew.

Edmund – 10 people Germany / climbed Tocllaraju & Huascaran 2007

Dear Anne, dear Hisao, I´m sorry, that my feedback is done so late, but I was so busy the last months, that I wanted to go back to Peru immediately. I hope, that a few guys of my group had more time to answer as me. Almost, if I remember to the time in your land, I begin dreaming. We had different adventures, horse riding in trance, accident about the crevasse, and at last a big success about climbing Huascaran. The most important remembers are the persons, that made all this adventures able. And this are you, Hisao and his friends. We have to thank you again for doing such a good work for us. All the time we were best attended and felt never left alone.

John 5 people – Australia / Huayhuash trek 2007

This was the first time that any of us had done a fully catered hike. We were spoiled rotten, and loved it. You provide a first class service, which was obvious to us when we looked at the level of equipment and service provided to other groups we encountered. Many thanks for a wonderful experience. John, David, Kathy and Ian

Tom – UK / Santa Cruz Ulta trek 2007

In general I had a great trek, it was perfect for what we had in mind. Personally I would like to return to Peru for more challenging trekking / summiting however that was never the focus of this trip. Staff, equipment, food, treatment of animals, responsibility toward maintaining the environment and general organization could not really be faulted ….WELL DONE!!

Roland (Canada) Huayhuash trek 2006

Hola hisao … thanks to you, I made my plane and arrived back in the US after a memorable trip to the peruvian andes … I will always remember your generosity of spirit and extreme kindness to have escorted me from huaraz to lima when it appeared that campesinos had blocked all roads and that travel to lima was impossible … your deep sense of responsibility to help a visitor to your country is much to your credit and very gratefully appreciated … my trip with peruvian andes adventures would have been special even without your noble gesture … you have made it extraordinary … thank you so very much … gracias mi amigo … roland

Rosalie : Leader of a group of 60 plus years olds from USA / Santa Cruz trek 2006:

Peruvian Andes Adventures was conducting several treks simultaneously but we felt we were the most important group. From the owner, Hisao, our guides and crew, Anne, Mijumi, Maria and Jose to our donkey drivers, Xavier and Jose the emphasis was on making us feel welcome in their beautiful country and everything was done to give us the very best experience. We thank you for making this marvelous adventure possible, and look forward to returning someday to Peruvian Andes Adventures and another trek. Anne was an excellent guide and assisting her and responsible for meals were Majumi and Maria and Jose. We felt well taken care of from the beginning – our health and well being were paramount. Anne’s advice on when to ride the horses, to take a day hike to acclimatize, breathing and conserving strength at altitude was practical and well taken. Maria and Mijumi had helpful tips for riding that horse. The donkey drivers and Jose worked hard setting up camp, tents with our thermorests were always ready when we came into camp. Hot water for washing was available morning and afternoon and greatly appreciated. Thanks again for everything you did. Everyone agrees it was the best trek ever and we all want to come back. Best regards, Rosalie
