Laguna 69 (4450m) with Llanganuco Lakes
Laguna 69 is a beautiful mountain high lake nestled right under the mountains. Travel in our private vehicle from Huaraz into the Huascaran National Park, first passing by the famous beautiful twin LLanganuco Lakes. We start hiking from Cebollapampa (3850m) climbing continuously in a zig zag path to Laguna 69, a beautiful lake of the most brilliant blue colour (4500m). The lake is surrounded by the mountains Chacrarju and Pisco which leave reflections on the lake. On the return walk you look directly towards the mountains Huascaran, Chopicalqui and Yanapaccha. This is a long & tiring day & should not be considered suitable for your first day hike at high altitude, but is a good second or third day hike option.
